Mike's Notes -

At first glance, you might mistake this stocky little chap for a Nub. It may be less than 3.5” long but, that large ring gauge means it has a smoke time closer to that of a robusto sized cigar. A real pocket rocket. Whilst wider ring gauges have become more popular and prevalent in the cigar world, anyone that knows me, knows that I prefer slender ring gauges. So why did I choose this line? I was surprised that it didn’t feel like an unwieldy cigar in my hand and that Habano 2000 Ecuador wrapper looks magnificent, I think you’ll agree. You’ll also see, on close inspection of the band that the “77” is blue on the back of the band and the dot in the left eye is also blue. This is Laurent’s way of differentiating each vitola. Although the vitola name for this short fat cigar is Gordito, it has nothing to do with the Cuban size which is 50 x 5.5”.

I would say that this cigar would be best enjoyed after a big lunch
