The Buffalo TEN Maduro debuted at the 2019 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show. The binder and one of the filler leaves are grown by El Artista. The wrapper is the fabulous Mexican San Andres; a wrapper that must adorn 75% of any New World maduros at least.  It has a rustic appearance and is slightly rough looking but, this masks the quality of the wrapper and always delivers on flavour. The spicy beginning gives way to more cedar and toasted wood notes, also some sweetness. The draw is good and these box presses are producing plenty of smoke. The flavours change into more earthy toasted bread notes, woodiness continues and just a touch of winter spice enters the final third.
